Let it fucking go already. We're so far-gone from anything that can be theorized as "original intent," (as though you can honestly, conclusively say what that may be) because we're not a callous group of white men whose sole purpose in life is slaughtering Native Americans and whipping black people into submission to bolster our own sense of self-importance and luxury. We've gone back and forth between central bank/no central bank several times in this country. It's not going away at this juncture, and I'm not going to argue the merits for/against the existence of it.
