I wish people would stop using the word racism incorrectly. There's nothing wrong with profiling people, we do it every day based upon tons of factors such as clothing, mannerism, the car you drive, the way you talk or walk, what you eat etc., and yes your ethnicity. I'm sorry but if I'm at an ATM at night and a twenty year old orthodox jewish kid from Baltimore is behind me in his black suit pants and white dress shirt I'm not feelin too concerned. If its a black kid with a hoodie over his head and Baggie jeans I take note and am naturally more defensive / perceptive. Anyone who denies they do this is full of shit and I want you to go walk through Harlem at night with your girlfriend or through Compton or seven mile.

Racism on the other hand is believing that the color of your skin makes you inherently "dumb" or superior or what not which I vehemently disagree with. My perception about people based upon their color is one that is based upon culture, which I readily admit has been shaped by skin color due to the history of racism and inequality in this country, poverty, unequal opportunities etc.

Would you hire someone as your attorney that was wearing shorts and a tshirt in his office? Would you go in without a rubber on a girl with a clit ring? Do you leave your car unlocked downtown? Gtfo

Tl;dr everyone profiles people based upon tons of factors and all this talk about that being racist is bullshit.
I don't know how often I say this to people. Skin color to me makes no difference, but the clothes you wear do. If someone is dressed like a thug, I'm gonna be cautious of them. If they are wearing a nice shirt and dress pants, they won't even be on my radar.
