This seems to be an issue for all druid quad spells. Will only hit one mob, and won't hit a nearby mob if cast on yourself. I only tested the lvl 58 Fist of Karana, but that should be enough. Not sure if this holds for other classes quad spells.

I was using the lumi staff last night hitting 4 mobs at a time. I don't think it's that widespread.
