it's amazing how much underlying racial tension can explode on the basis of a case that really has almost nothing to do with race
fukn fbi can't find evidence zimmerman was racist, his ex-fiancée that filed a restraining order against him says she never heard him say anything racist, he self identifies as hispanic
too many people are way too eager to scream racism. it exists and it's no small potatoes, but it's also not responsible for every injustice visited upon a black person.
and in this instance, even IF zimmerman is a racist and followed trayvon based at least partly on his skin color, it doesn't change the facts of the case at all. you still don't know who started the fight, you still don't know who screamed for help, you still have reasonable doubt as to whether or not zimmerman was acting in self defense
