Sorry Amuck but unfortunately unless you have a few million blue plat, decked out 60 VP chars you might be able to get a tstaff(and a 50+ monk). Realistically from one monk to another new red player, You are better off going rogue, Rogue epic is just as easy if not easier to obtain then a monk. Monks without tstaff can pvp great, but a tstaff monk is so overpowered its a joke. Every time a tstaff drops on red there's a new 60 monk with it in its hands. Rogues with a skean can still get some good hits in even if you are bad. Especially once you get double backstab + disciplines.
I don't know who does blue trades, But you could at the very least get a rogue epic + full set of gear if not a 40-50 rogue with epic/skean already out of that. Rogue epic MQ go for around 30-35k red, Fungi's are 60-70k. Sorry if its not what you wanted to hear as far as a tstaff fungi monk goes. But you wouldn't be able to get a tstaff even with 3-4 fungis+more on red. Free bump nonetheless
