thats odd, if he didnt need help why would he invite you back just to ninja loot the cloak. Unless he was hoping it wouldnt drop and him inviting you would gave him some sense of assurance thinking that youd trust him to do it the next time etc until cloak dropped...
did he say anything or just throw you and invite after he engaged it?
