Most is a big jump. To say even "A fair amount" would be a jump.
It also has little to nothing to do with Magic and everything to do with the natures of competitive environments in general, what you're saying implies that Magic eventually leads to poker which is simply not true. Many athletes for example participate in several sports but there is no direct correlation between any particular sports leading to participation in specific others.

David Williams and Eric froelich are probably the most well know. Gabriel nassif is also another but im not sure he has had as much success.

While I won't dispute that Eric Froehlich is living the dream, statistically he's an anomaly. David Williams for example has gotten himself in trouble multiple times in his Magic career for blatantly cheating.
Williams isn't an exception either, he was buddies with one of the most renowned Magic players Mike Long, who's been disqualified from at least 10 different high tier events for cheating. The creators of the game call him a villain, the players don't seem to care because they can't see past the fact that he "builds good decks".
