Does anybody wanna point me in the direction of a low end, prebuilt PC or a laptop that will run modern games, even on low settings for like $500-800? I've been using a decade-old Dell laptop with awful intel integrated graphics since 2008 when my last built PC died on me and it has been a real ball breaker not even being able to run even low intensity 3D games on it. It's kind of the reason I got into P99 in the first place (and this game still runs like buttered ass). Anyways, the screen on this thing finally died. Would prefer another laptop over a desktop just for space reasons (and laptop + couch > PC + desk) but wouldn't be opposed to to a PC if it was a substantial increase in power.
I don't know anything about computing in the last half a decade. I don't know how many cores I need or what the numbers on GPU models mean anymore. I'm lost and while I feel like anything will be a step up from where I'm at now, I don't want to buy something that turns out is a massive piece of crap like this laptop turned out to be.
