Here's some old desktop memories. Built it circa 2008, first build, did a custom watercooling set up with dangerden heat sinks, forgot what brand the pump was, and a huge 3x120mm fan radiator for the back. Overclocked my little allendale chip to 3.0ghz for several years with that watercooling set up, the 3/4" tubing did just fine keeping it and the GPU cool.

SPECS:
Gigabyte Aurora Case
Asus P5B Deluxe Motherboard
Sapphire ATI HD4850 Graphics Card
ThermalTake Toughpower 750W Powersupply
Soundblaster Audigy SE Soundcard
Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 1.8ghz, running overclocked at 2.9ghz
1TB Western Digital Green Label Hard Disk Drive
2GB Corsair xtreme XMS2 RAM
Windows XP Operating System

Pic of inside of case (after mobo fried and had taken watercooling out, struck by lightning via ethernet )

I'm aware my cable management was shit, and I rigged some of the open ports with blue electric tape after I lost some PCi card slot metal cover trays.

Wish I had some pics when I had the watercooling all hooked up, purred like a kitten without a hitch for 2 years with just flushing the water cooling.

Was pretty proud of my stable OC of roughly 60% also. Bought that CPU for a fraction of what the higher C2D series was going for and at a good clock freq.
