imho: if microsoft was targeted they'd be hacked in no time. psn has many more subscribers world wide which would lead to more potential numbers to sell, and them less likely to be patterned due to the globalization.

Wrong, at the time of the Sony debacle in question the number of PSN subscribers was roughly 2/3 of the number of Xbox live subscribers. Nice try though.
