Hey, I love me some Electric Wizard too. Who doesn't love stoner-doom metal with H.P. Lovecraft references? But they aren't even in the same ballpark as Opeth.

Depends what ballpark you're talking about, they're two completely different sounding bands with their own following. If I were to say which of these two bands has a stronger following, probably Opeth cause it's more accessible and not a whole lot of people really dive into the whole stoner/sludge metal scene
but if I were to compare these bands on some pure heaviness/density (I.E Daaamn they're heavy as balls!) factor Electric Wizard smokes Opeth like some left over roach weed
