Meyers lemons do great indoors, produce a lot and blossoms are very very fragrant

just remember for plants living inside its easy to overwater

Get the biggest pot you can and make sure you get potting soil not garden, if you can put some lime in the pot also ( will lower ph )

Your only problems will be leaf miners so before you bring it inside spray it outside with any kind of triple action neem or citrus type spray, if you kill them once you should be fine.

Try to buy your tree at a nursery instead of home depot or lowes, most of the time they are the wrong species , grafted wrong or just plain don't produce.

If you don't mind waiting you can buy your tree online from a trusted retailer and you will get either a dormant sprout or a little twig with 1 or 2 roots.

this can yield the highest quality tree.
