It's mayyyyybe one thing to try and involve Rogean in some shady dealings and shit went on back in the Uthgard era but.. still. He isn't around unless some jack ass tries to hack the server or he has a flash of interest to do some more coding for free (shit gets fucking old trust me).
Now on to the person you stupidly targeted and that situation as I see it:
I'm not sure why they won't even punish Nizzar for things he is blatantly caught and logged doing.
Maybe its because he'd be gone and Nilbog wants to keep him around in the bug section or working with ole Arzak.
But when you judge an individual, weigh the good vs. the bad.
Nilbog-
The good:
Free server
Patient
Nice guy
Gets involved with the carryings on in bugs and makes the best decision possible
Puts in a lot of time
The bad:
POSSIBLY protects people that ensure classic content is developed or assist in doing so
He also plans to make new servers or reroll these old ones when he feels the timelines and content are as complete as they can be. So anything that happened in the past, is pretty much pointless. That goes for any possible deals of protection for people who assisted him along the way. Once those servers are out, you aren't valuable and better keep your nose clean.
Frankly? I can't explain why certain people aren't banned despite blatantly doing the same things within a month of another banned person.
Summation (as I see it):
Nilberg is a fucking pal and hasn't pulled the plug on either server despite how the greater part of the community acts. His interests are entirely and alone one thing: create a classic EQ server using the EQEmu building blocks he started with.
If he's protecting Arzak and Nizzar because he sees them as being valuable to classic content development, fine. And knowing that, accept it and ForumQuest against the people you're after but not him, because, ultimately, they're the ones abusing that relationship. They don't HAVE to strip chars or exploit dragons, they COULD just be good community members and contribute without being the scum of the earth. Go after Nizzar, go after Arzak but Nilbog isn't making them doing any of the fucking shiesty things they do. But..... you know...... them pixels.
