I think what we have here is a complete misunderstanding of basic contracts.

If you do not disclose a required price ahead of time, please don't come here and cry about it. Does any business allow customers to simply pay whatever they want? Would that business ever get a fair price for its good or service if it did that? Rarely.

At least they wouldn't cry about it in a public forum if they didn't. Someone asks you for a port? Give them your rates. If they don't like that, they can find someone else. If you haven't even told me what you require for your service, how in the world can I know what you think a fair price is? How can we enter into contract and exchange value for value if you do not define the value of your end of the transaction?
