Hi friends,

So, I'm pretty new here. I started in November. I'm a level 56 enchanter that groups with people from all guilds.

This forum section is pretty much the most active. Everytime I read it, I see the same people yelling at each other and saying 'your guild is bad' or 'you are a basement dweller' or 'you are spinning again' or 'this dude is RMT'ing!'

And the thing is, I never see anyone be like oh, hey guys, I'm sorry. You're right. You guys are constantly just berating each other. No one actually listens. No one really debates, there's just constant name calling.

So, I'd like to dedicate this thread as a place where we point out times and/or threads where your mind was really changed about a topic. I want to see real stories about real

you are a basement dweller

people and real situations where you said, hey, this dude is right and I was wrong.

Please no fake stories or stupid shit.

Also, not being able to edit your posts here sucks ass, as evidenced by an unfinished title and two posts.

I used to think mages were horrible... then I met Pimecone.

Nope. I made my enchanter on my join date and then had to quit for personal reasons. I did not come back to this server until November 2012. I achieved level 12 in two days of playing my first time thru.

Sometimes, I dress my halfling rogue as a druid and advertise for ports outside of tunnel

I've yet to come up with a completely reasonable counterargument to Hasbinbad's hatred of the military without it being contaminated by emotional considerations.

I made a schadenfraude thread about an objectivist cancer patient who couldn't pay for his treatment, and by the end of it I took a little less pleasure in the whole thing.... a little.

Why would somebody come to this forum and expect or even desire civility?
