Shovel of Ponz quest
 

I just turned in all the items for the Shovel of Ponz quest to Vira in Solusek Temple and absolutely nothing happened. I turned in:

a ruby
a shovel of earth
a gargoyle eye
a Hill Giant Toes

Is this NPC or Quest now broken? Unfortunate to pay over 300p for all these items and then have them disappear in a split second. Thanks for any help.

shovel of earth same thing as "a shovel"?

yes, it is just "a shovel" but identifies as "shovel of earth"

i know with the ench quests needed amiable faction, can anyone confirm if you need higher than indifferent for mage?

I have only read that it needs to be indifferent or better.

did this with my high elf mage without any faction work. i would imagine any mage should be able to do this unless they went to sol ro and started a bar fight. then again this is eq and faction has always been somewhat retarded.

the only thing i can guess is you turned it into the wrong NPC. before you think im kidding just look at how often that is the case in the bugs section. OP you should probably list your char name and roughly the time you turned it in so nilbog or someone can check it out.

I definitely gave it to the right NPC. It failed around 5:30 PM EST. Character name is Clear. Thanks again for your help and suggestions. = )
