Did you guys try running as admin?
That is a block of memory that is being held for some other programs instructions.
Running as admin may remap that.

please use the search function,this thread has been created like 10 times in the last week...

need to change your resolution. should be found in eqgame.ini? something like that. idk. use the search function, im watching football =P

gotrocks 01-13-2013 02:50 PM

also run as admin, try under compatibility mode, etc....

skipy 01-13-2013 03:32 PM

yes i am running it as admin and when i went to run compatibility mode it wouldnt even open the launcher anymore

if you've already patched to p99, dont use the launcher at all, just run eqgame.exe straight up.

did you try messing with the resolution? 99% of the time that is the source of this problem. like i said, there are many threads about this, but ill walk it out one more time.

go to your eq folder, open eqclient.ini

hit ctrl+f, type windowedwidth, you should see something like this:

WindowedWidth=1280
WindowedHeight=768
Width=1280
Height=768
FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32
FullscreenRefreshRate=0
WidthWindowed=1280
HeightWindowed=768

change it to this:

WindowedWidth=800
WindowedHeight=600
Width=800
Height=600
FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32
FullscreenRefreshRate=0
WidthWindowed=800
HeightWindowed=600

if that doenst work, try changing those values to your screens native resolution instead.

keep messing with those values until you get something that works... like i said, 99% of hte time this is hte issue.
