Items with charges should re-charge when sold/bought back from merchants

See title. Current setup is NOT classic EverQuest.

Are you doing it correctly?

Sell item with 0 charges, sell item with full charges, buy back both fully charged

This feature has been disabled on the red server, by design.

You really wanna face an army of Golem/ect wands?

No. I want to be that army.

Should be disabled by design on both servers.

Once it became wide spread it was fixed (read: known).

It was never an intended feature at any point, whereas things like the manastone were initially intended and then removed.

People complain about the inflated economy and then defend their raid/travel trivializing rechargeables. HHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

I agree with this, though there's many examples of things like this from classic EQ but yet because they weren't changed until Luclin or Velious, will remain in place, despite clearly not being intended. I guess it just depends what "classic" means to you. Does it mean the game literally plays exactly the way it did in 1999, in which case exploits should remain as well, alchemy should've been non-functional for quite sometime, broken quests etc., or is it a vision of a certain type of play that existed? If it's the later, which I prefer, then Nirgon's point is very valid.

Not classic.

This server should have a lot of classic things, like resists and other mechanics. Be great if we could melee players while moving now like we could 12 years ago on dial up...

Item recharges are not one of those things. Unlike during this era on live, not everyone knew or utilized recharging. Now they do.

Not sure what server you played on, but on Tallon Zek, I never came across a level 50+ player that didn't have re-charged golem wands on them at all times.
