Right now I'm mainhanding a http://wiki.project1999.org/Darksea_Harpoon and a book of obulus with an FBSS

I've got about 1k and was wondering if there was anything better that is cheaper than the granite face grinder

I'm open to suggestions, and would consider selling the FBSS or book if the GFG or something else is really that awesome

What level are you?

There are a couple of options, if you are sub-50: Poison Wind Censer (doesn't proc, pretty good 2hb action for 1k or less).

There is also Slime Coated Harpoon if you want to stick to piercing.

darksea is close enough to where I wouldn't spend $ on slime coated

censer looks good though

Sounds like Poison Wind Censer will be the best back for your buck, and you can keep the harpoon you have now to keep up your skills.

At level 27 a poison wind censer is far better than my spell set as far as dps goes. Unless killing even cons where I have to sort of kite, my most efficient grinding by far is slow and melee.

the poison wind censer is pure awesome till 50 (when it procs aoe... yuck). Using one right now.

How much do those Poison wind censor's go for? I'm 43 iksar shaman and am using a springwood club with a charred guardian shield in offhand. Would it be worth for soloing to upgrade to that wep?

Seen them for about 1k, some charge up to 1.5/2k, some sell for less than 1k.

should be able to grab one for under a k.

At 43 is it really worth the cost though? Sometimes being an iksar makes gear choice a huge problem
