Old EQer trying to start playing...
 

I started playing EQ right after SoL came out and for several years. Have been missing it for a while and found p1999. So while Im excited to finally get started back again, I cant seem to get it running. I install. Unzip EQemu run selecting p1999. It patches up to just the same ole boot screen. What am I doing wrong guys....

Have you definitely got EQ Titanium? Not the current version of EQ Live or anything else? :P

I believe so. install the 5 cds and then have not touched it until I unzipped the EQemu. This is honestly the most difficult time I have ever had doing anything and Im sure Im missing something simple.

Have you tried disabling your firewall and trying to play (just to see if it works)? Some firewalls can be bastards.

doing a fresh re install now. I mean i can log in and it accepts my info, just does not show any server up for play once I get into the actual eq launcher

Do you just see a server select screen with a black panel (no servers to select from?).

If so, try logging out and logging in again 3-4 times, happens to me sometimes.

well what ever I did, after 12 hours of fiddling with it, I got it running. Might have been the firewall up thatwouldnt let anything
