Kill qwinn or zephyl for rotlc?

I was just wondering if this still works? Rather the doing the quest? Just kill qwinn or zephyl and loot the robe? Anyone actually accomplish this? Thanks to all who can help

Yep, it works.

You probably want 12-15 to kill him. Can definitely be done with less, but would be incredibly hard to single group (though that would be fun to try!)

Tank, 2 clerics, melee DPS, he is super easy.
