Run by server staff? Co-op with top raiding guild? Come on, you cannot tell me after all this time they cannot find and ban the people RMT'ing. No tinfoil hat, just facts. There is a ton of RMT, there is Numberous sites, and for 3 years its been active on this server.

Project99 is a paycheck, not a free emulator.

People are banned for RMT. I see them banned. I see players make petitions with evidence and action is taken.

I'm not sure if you expect the staff to hunt people down in real life or what, but that's not something we do.

I was curious, how do you guys even detect RMT?

I'm sure they can filter and see when a large sum of plat changes hands without anything being given back in return. That seems like it would be the easiest way

Would be dumb to tell people detection methods and what to circumvent.

However, try to discern what is trackable and what is not... provided our powers of omnipotence don't extend past the game world.

I hate these threads and I share a common hatred for RMTing fucks. We probably put forth more effort than any other server for trying to get rid of it.

So in essence, you can hop onto these RMT sites and compare gear/level templates of peoples auction posts to current character inventories in game?
