Oowomp permanent despawned?

Figures I finally get to level to 30 to kill them one at a time. Maybe it's because of the bard with the name start with B was having 4 people spam turn in gold for him while he was killing 50+ at once thanks!!

Was an obvious exploit. I'm glad he's removed.

Can someone explain? Isn't Oowomp the hand in NPC for the Canni 2 quest?

Ephi 12-28-2012 11:34 AM

We've been removing him to keep people from exploiting until we can get it patched.

If someone needs him for a quest or otherwise, they should just petition ;) We will not be allowing people to gain exp off the skeletons for now, though.

um, suspend the people who are exploiting?

Seriously, just sit there invisible for a few days and ban the cheaters. There isn't enough of that going around.

Ephi 12-28-2012 01:09 PM

I'd prefer to just keep them from doing it, personally.

Urbanzkopf 12-28-2012 01:13 PM

what was even happening?

Boilon 12-28-2012 01:17 PM

sounds like a bard had some friends turn in 5g at a time spawning the skeletons at mass , and the bard would profit by swarm kiting all of them.

at the expense of legitimate people trying to kill him? I do not understand why you do not feel comfortable with giving people who exploit a suspension.
