Does anyone else get confused?
 

Hi all!

was wondering if there was a website that was dedicated to classic everquest and classic everquest only. I for one get confused when i look at alla, etc. for quest information and then find out later that it doesn't exist. Example would be the burned out lightstone for class armor.... got me excited until i found out i wasn't able to do it.. sadness

There's a sticky in the library section you'll want to bookmark.

Having actually played EQ during its golden age would be a big help as well.

As for allakhazam, if the posts on any particular quest don't go back to 2001, then it's a safe bet it's not classic.

was this when you saw the item with +5 str / agi / dex, 25hp / mana, ac 8, recommended level 10 item? :D

only thing there is are archived databases of older sites... not that useful in all honesty.

I usually look at the first submitted date (or whatever they call it) on Allakhazam. If its around 2000 or so, there's a good chance the quest is in the game. If it says 2004, you can be fairly confident that its not.

and you can use the www.web.archive.org and find many, many Allas pages that have been archived back to 2000
