Im getting up to 5k ping everytime i zone into TT

And im hearing of other ppl having the same issue, could we have this looked at?

Never had this happen to me. Since it only happens to some people, we need to narrow down what is different about those people...

i.e.
PC stats:
OS: Windows 7 pro
CPU: Dual core amd
Video Card: Geforce

Connection: Comcast cable
Wired/Wireless(?) - Wired

Optional EQ mods:
High res textures (y/n?) - N
Wineq2.0 (y/n?) - Y

Anything else you can think of?

I believe it has something to do with desync caused by unstable internet connection as everyone who has the problem seems to have garbage internet. One person I know who has this issue is brennard, who plays often and might be a good person to discuss this with.

I don't understand how this could be an issue with the internet connection.

Every other zone on the server loads fine and the issue above does not happen -- only in Trakanon's Teeth and Emerald Jungle.

For me anyway.

ping test to seattle cuz thats where your connection is bottle necked if you live up here alaska.

here is a ping test with 30% chance of desync in TT
I think the 30% chance come from the fact i live in alaska ( very far from server, even though connection is good, it acts like its not so good)

EDIT >>> Turning Clip plane to 0 helps a ton with not desyncing in TT, also if you are going to Desync it will happen when you zone in almost every time, if your like me and must avoid this zone like the plague, it can be tricky to get keyed for seb. turn clip plane to 0 and zoning in from EJ seems to help dont ask me why, but i seem to Desync less when zoning from EJ to TT

I think I could bring a good deal of light to this issue. My internet connection is very stable. 20 down 2 up and 50 MS. I've never had an issue in trak's teeth. However, during hurricane Sandy I got my power back before my internet returned. This caused me to use my 3g phone to tather. During 3g tathering I am generally at 2.5 down, 1.5 up and 100-150 MS. I played with 3g tather for several days without much trouble. That is until I hit trakanon's teeth. Everytime I entered this zone I would Desync so hard and hit those 5k + pings, that I'd only ever heard about from one of our alaskan guildmates that operate under shit internet.
