Could not establish a connection.
 

Searched the forums couldnt find anything related to the login issue I am having. Soon as I double click the EQ icon it comes up "Could not establish a connection. Please check your network connection or visit http://www.station.sony.com/kb"

Ive been playing this game since it released so I know I had it working at one point, hard-drive fried itself so replaced it and re-installed, did the walk through but still cant figure out the issue.

Any halp?

It sounds like you're clicking the normal EQ icon. Use the EQEmu launcer or use a shortcut to eqgame.exe

I got the shortcut with patchme at the end, like i said ive been playing since the server was in beta and they were expecting 80-100 people to play, still cant figure the issue out

Yeah, apparently since the last fix the GM's put in alot of folks have been having weird trouble logging in. Not sure if this applies to you or not but I'm hoping theres some word on this after I get out of work tommorow morning.
