is there a wat to have my hotkey bindings for one toon NOT be the same for the others? like say i push 2 on my keysboard, i have it set for 2 and 0.... and for another toon when i log in and forget, that can get me dead, fast.

Hotkey settings are stored in the eqclient.ini file, which is used globally across all characters and servers. So basically no without having several ini files that you switch out everytime you want to changed characters by logging out first.
