new and had a couple questions
 

i was curious why dots do so much less damage compared to what the wiki says and also is there a spell parser that is available or can someone recommend something.

also lookinh for a lvling guide ive checked the other posts and some of the other class ones but nothing seems to great

Are the mobs moving after you dot them? The only way to get full damage
is to keep the mob stationary either by rooting them or by having someone tank
them. If the mob is moving (even if snared) it won't suffer full damage from a dot

Fearing puts dots at max also.

Yes, I forgot this, but since I mainly play a druid I don't use fear much.
I know that people do but at level 53 I typically root/rot or quad kite

ya i figured out the root/tank vs kiting dmg thing i just thought overall they did more dmg, i was just thinkin my dps was low but its prob how it is till 24,

maybe its just in my mind , anyways thanks

looking for a place to solo at 20 to 24 btw , currently in OT doing stuff near ww its pretty easy and lots of mobs, ive done the oasis its pretty good to but always overcamped so hard to get mobs, any other suggestions i think did EK on my mage around that lvl

At level 24 you can probably start killing Cordelia Minster in NK.
