NPCs do not say "Time to die"!
 

I never in any kills on a mob here on red or blue saw this text.

This was very common amongst humanoid mobs, specifically, ones that did not have their own engage text such as the infamous "froooooak" from froglok type mobs when aggro'd.

Example on live: Attacking a player in a city would trigger a number of guards aggroing who should state things from their engage text like this.

(Hostile spell cast on player)
"Time to die, Nirgon"
"Wizard like you are an afront to my senses"
"Dark elves like you have ruined your own lands, you'll not ruin mine!" -- (This one I believe comes from a check to see that the current race does not match the target race or type. I do not recall spectres saying this, but Orcs would)
... etc

It would make random calls.


Also, Efreeti Lord Djarn may be too big in size on both servers as you see from the SS. This is one of those quickie fixes I think you guys love that I'll sneak into this thread.

Some mobs do say "time to die" on p99. If you know of any specific mobs that should say it, that currently don't, you should probably list them.

Never saw it once man, imo worth reporting. Killed lots of Freeport guards (who needs their resists bumped up... yes even the non town front ones).

In North Freeport, I see "Time to Die, %T!" all the time (Knights of Truth guards).

I used to kill npc's that would say 'Die like a motherless gnoll!' that was common I think with the Qeynos based npc/guards

For the future...

I distinctly remember my RL buddy's druid adventuring through PoG and hailing the centaur at the base of Tunare's tree...The exchange went something like this:

Hail, Prince Thirneg
Newmer : I've come for your phat lewts.
Prince Thirneg: "You find no "phat lewts" here Newmer!"
BAM DEATHTOUCH.

Apparently this is a well known thing on Alla's, but when we did it it was just spontaneous as far as I know, we almost shit ourselves.

The hermit in SK doesn't aggro through the door when you threaten him in /say either on here, does he?

I don't know if I remember the exact /say phrase, but I am positive you could goad the hermit into coming after you with something like "/say I will kill you!"
