Ranger Dual Wield vs 2HB
 

So I have a Jade Mace/CSS and a Woodsman's Staff. The staff is sick, but is it really that much better? If I could get over it and sell it, I could upgrade some gear. Just not sure I want to considering how hard it was to find. Any opinions?

P.S. My only haste is FBSS unless I'm in a group with a haster.

Yes the 2hb is better, 9/18 is freaking terrible. Maybe if you get a Wurmslayer or something not so shitty you could dual wield. Jade mace is only decent for low levels.

Its hard to get better than a .5 ratio on 1 handers without raiding though.

You also get to cast fast spells during those longer 2hb/2hs delay resets.

I definitely do this when I use it. Can just squeeze a lil nuke in there for a nice triple hit sometimes.

There's other little perks to 2h over 1h, also. Your ripostes are bigger, you get riposted less often, and you take less damage from damage shields. Plus it's not like you can't sell the jade mace and CSS and then get some upgrades!

I wouldn't feel right without some one handers.. but I've considered it!

Hmm, what about lammy and WS combo? Any love for that?

OK, say you're lv 42. Lammy/WS or Woodsman? Also, at what level do you go to the other option? Extra bonus question... I've got 10k to play with. Current weapons owned are lammy, silk whip of snare, and mosscovered twig. I have no fbss. Whats best to spend the cash on?
