PvP noob
 

I am thinking about rolling an alt on Red99. How do Rangers fare? I have never played on a PvP server before.

play a pet class or at least a caster

play a cleric!

well, rangers are in the top 3 of all mele classes regarding dmg output. lower than rogues and,depending what gear someone has, on par/ slightly lower than monks

mitic you stop that right now with your ranger boner

Rangers are alright, SK's are the best, pallies are group oriented. Play whatever you want, pvp in a group till your pro, solo pvp is for twinks and alts

whatever, everyone says rogues suck but they are lies, all the classes are decent, some have more powers then others yes, but really its the player that matters most

Having track is better on a pvp server.

Flamelick, Snare, etc. are nice.

But you're worse dps than rogue, monk, and warrior while leveling slower.

The upside? I can't think of a more overpowered pvp item than Windstriker if you can hold on that long.
