Game worked fine then it crapped out
 

So I've been playing flawlessly for 2 weeks now.. suddenly I begin to freeze up everytime I zone. Upon trying to relaunch the game I don't even make it to the character loading screen. I decide to do a fresh install and now I can't even patch the game.

I get an error message about dsetup.dll and then a much larger error message naming saying something about gemicons01.tga being in use by another program and not being able to be patched.

If I hit play anyways I get a message "Error while updating... Could not find C:\Program Files(x86)\Sony\files\787.xml"

After clicking ok I get "There are no server files available for: Client: Titanium, Server: Project 1999 would you like to launch Everquest anyways?"

If I launch I can login, see the servers... but I trying to connect just leads me back to the main menu after a moment.

Have you tried with any firewalls / port blocking software disabled to eliminate these?

I've added the launcher, and eqgame to my list of allowed programs. And they are both running in compatibility and administrator mode.

I get all the missing file /error files on my updater parse but EQ launches fine for me

Try creating a folder on C: named Titanium or whatever you like and move your EQ files to that.

Relaunch EQEmu > Options > and reset the folder paths.
