Green Combines-- FAIL
 

I now have Failed 2 green combines in a row for spellcraft ??? Say What

Im using the Trival from Alla

trivs can fail, I fail 2 out of 20 trivial alchemy combines or so.

Trivial doesn't mean you can't fail a combine (and subsequently lose your materials) -- just ask any smith that failed a Fine Steel Plate trivial.
The failrate for trivial items is about 5%.

I failed at a trivial spell combine. It happens. Naturally it occurred on the one spell I had the least amount of mats for :D

The only trivial combines that were no fail on live was combining silk to swatches or spiderling silk to threads.

You won't start getting your best success rate until you are about 20 points or so above the trivial level.

Spell: Pillage Enchantment - Research 104

MY spellcraft is 122. I got one point on combine of Pillage Enchantment.... i became 123. Whats going on here? After Pillage i tried 2 more combines on my lvl 44 spells BOTH green combines VIA Alla. BOTH failed.

IDK, it seems DERVs are making spellcraft HARDer. Dervs already made the recipies, Classic... We cant see what the color of the combine it might be 300 now for all we know ??????

Later.... I just did a Combine for Mind Wipe.. VIA ALLA -Spell: Mind Wipe - Research 92.

I Got another point.. im now 124. Which means it was higher than 92

I should point out that DEV = developer and DERV = dervish.

Should tell you that the trivials you see listed at allakhazam are WRONG, not that the devs have magically made research any more difficult...

Trivial means hard
