AAs and Project 1999
 

Hello all,

I have been seriously considering playing on P1999 after discovering it today. I am a former EQ player, ive played on classic EQ on release, SoD, and the progression servers.

I have spent a few hours lurking today and searching to the best of my ability for an answer to this, but have not found any definitive answer.

So, will AAs EVER be considered? A simple maybe from a Mod would make me happy. I really dont want to spend all the time to grind to max level and find that my grinding is for no more than items at that point.


I'm really not trying to make this a debate, and i know there are other threads but I didn't see a Mod say anything regarding this.

If there is zero possibility of them ever being added to P1999 then i'm afraid this server is not for me.

I simply don't want to spend the time building up my character just to quit at max level like I do with all other MMO's...

Velious + AAs = happy me. I dont want all the other luclin crap.

I don't think anyone can speak to the staffs intent with the server after Velious has been conquered. Currently Velious is not out, nor will be out anytime soon (months not years).

AAs are definitively not slated, however it's not my server.

Don't count on it.

just play red instead and save urself the trouble of leveling up a char for nothing!

I think it's safe to say that they will never be on the server. The stated goal has always been to get as close to classic as possible and there is a lot of work ahead of the team to achieve it fully. Time will tell but for now, assume that AA's will never be on the server.

Ahh, well I stand corrected! Thanks Sirken. I am surprised I missed that (or forgot about it)

If they could do like 100 AA's at some time would make a lot of the Hybrid classes a bunch better. Not holding my breath on it though.
