Who here has experience with such geese? I understand they are protected. Here in Michigan where we have many bodies of water, geese are a real nuisance. However, it is technically illegal to plink them. It is in this right (among others) that I am a criminal.

One time a goose tried getting tough with me as I was running them off and I kicked it like 15 feet.

They usually try to avoid humans, if they're wild. The only exception is when they have goslings. Then, they will attack anything that gets too close.

That one has probably been fed by humans, and like any semi-wild animal in that situation, develops an attitude when it doesn't get fed.
