wont show the server list... seems like the EQemu itself is borked

Was this in classic? I don't think bad servers should be implemented into the game.

This is what I get.

Just looked up this work-around. Its a way to bypass the EQEmu Launcher.


Go to your Everquest directory [ie. C:\Program Files(x86)\Everquest\]

Find the file eqgame.exe right click and create a shortcut

Right click the shortcut and go to properties

On the Target line add the word "patchme" at the end without quotation marks. It should look like this... "C:\Program Files (x86)\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

Then apply the changes and double click.


Enjoy bypassing the EQEmu Launcher now.

Classic within the first month of release brought down the entire internet in the greater San Diego area. At the time the interwebs infrastructer was not able to support such heavy demand on the UDP protocol.

So yeah.. that is classic. And if we start "fixing" something that is classic that we don't like. Where do we draw the line?
