To be fair, I have heard that necro healing is more mana efficient than cleric healing (except maybe MT CH). But I have zero necro knowledge, just going off what I've heard.

Honestly the most mana efficient healing is bard regen. Horribly slow, but it takes zero mana, so its asymptotically infinitely efficient. Yay maths.

actually falkun, the necro spell heals MUCH more and you can pretty much do it forever. the spell takes very little mana and drains your own health, while you can dispel the health drain part. Can pretty much go forever with it. phat heals.
