Coming back. Have about 10k. Suggest some kunark armor for the monk.
 

Havnt played since before Kunark release.
Have about 10k to spend on upgrades for armor.
Here is what I have on atm. Any advice would be appreciated.

Head Crown of the Froglok Kings
Face Platinum Ruby Veil
Ears Diamondine Earring x2
Neck Wu's fighting collar
Shoulder Wu's Fighting Mantle
Back Hooded Black Cloak
Chest Robe of the Lost Circle
Arm Azure Sleeves
Belt Belt of Tranquility
Wrists Granite Bracers x2
Hand Gem Inlaid Gauntlets
Leg Gatorscale Leggings
Feet Wu's Fighting Slippers
Rings Platinum Fire Wedding Ring x2

Weapons are taken care of.

AC is (mostly) king.

Ditch the plat ruby veil (unless you're raiding or not tanking at all) and go with a Targishin's Bone Mask. Glowing Bone Collar is a cheap upgrade for your neck. If you're willing to farm for it, Necklace of Defiance from FM is 3 more raw ac.

I'd generally go higher AC on your bracers than granite (again, unless you're raiding). If you're human, Hero Bracer + something else.

I soloed on live through my late 50s as a monk and I found AC to be by far the most effective stat for pure efficiency.

Sarnak hide leggings are well worth getting

Hero Bracers are incredibly heavy, Id stick with the Granite bracers. Otherwise youll be having to compensate the AC loss, from the high weight.

Unless you get a Fungi and a lot faster Haste item and have a T Staff I don't think its going to make much difference in the short run.

Yeah. Im 22 stones atm. Heavy ass weapon :D

EQ is nothing if not upgrading your chars gear. ;)

Seems like ALOT of weight for little AC
