Bard, CHA, and PvP
 

Hmm hopefully I word this right to make sense. So when I am Mezzing a mob both MY CHA and the mobs MR come into play. My question is does it work the same for players in pvp? The reason I ask is because I can't think of another spell/skill that depends on a player stat and a players MR to land. So if a player has 100MR, how much more of a chance do I have to land a bard mez them with 200 CHA instead of say, 140 CHA? Also I've read if your CHA is higher than your dex then it will be checked to whether you miss a note or not instead of dex. I'll continue googling but since P99 works differently in the resist department than classic, I figured I should ask here.

EDIT: I am guessing a chanter could answer this as well.

Charisma doesn't affect mezzes in any way.

"Charisma affects lull, mez, and charm resists. Since the bard is one of only two classes that can mesmerize in Norrath, the other being the Enchanter, this is a decent location to allocate creation points."

BOTH dex and cha helps with missed notes, been confirmed by uthgaard long ago

so the only way to improve your chances of mezzing a player (besides debuffs such as tash, ect,) is to equip a string instument (or w/e the mezz song is under)?

I thought cha helped with duration of the charm? For enchanter it sure the hell does you can notice the diff between high and low cha....why wouldn't it be same with the bard?

I died in the middle of the group, with about 6 orcs on me. Vehementer tried to mez them, but they killed him after I died :( He was angry even tho it wasnt my fault. He's just evil i guess!
