Of gnomes, dark elves & orcs
 

Yo,
Rolled a Gnome Nec and want to hit Crushbone. I know it will trash my DE faction, but since I can't hit the nec guild anyway is there any reason to keep the faction other than banking/selling? Any quests/content I'd miss out on?

Unless you take a habit of smacking D'Vinn, the only DE faction you'll be losing is that of their warrior guild.

as a necro, only thing worth going in Neriak for is really coffins and banking. for that, the right deity and skelly form will help as well as a CoS.

Killing CB orcs is blown way out of proportion... if only affects warriors guild in neriak, so unless you have reason to go into the warriors guild or i think there is a wandering warrior faction guards in foriegn quarters, then kill away and wander through neriak all you like. I have been doing it with DE casters and gnomes etc ever since EQ released - also, you can do quests to fix that faction, but really there is no point.

Edit - pretty sure Lokar To'Biath quest with red wine is dark bargainers not ndigo brotherhood but i could be wrong

wine quest gives positive faction for;
dark bargainers (neriak merchants)
dreadguard outer(nektolous forest guards)
dreadguard inner(neriak guards)

dark bargainers goes up the fastest and outer goes up alot faster than inner i should note
