Project 1999 - error when launching game

I'm new, never played on an emulated server before, but I'd like to give it a try. :)

First off, I downloaded EQ Titanium from the BitTorrent link provided in the setup guide then followed all of the required steps. The problem is I get an error. It's just a simple: eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. No additional information is provided. I didn't do any of the extra steps for additional UI changes/music etc.

Any ideas where I might have gone wrong or why this is happening?

Also, when I originally installed EQ Titanium, I had all of my old files from live downloaded, even though I haven't played on live servers for about a year now. I got the same error I'm getting now. So I tried uninstalling/removing all EQ stuff I had on my computer then reinstalling just the Titanium version and the above is still occuring.

Any help would be great.
