Anyone know enough to list the difficulty of class epics in a rough order?
 

I've always been curious about how the epics stacked up against each other (as far as getting them) and how worth it each is to their class. If some of you are as bored as I, list the difficulty of acquiring each class' epic from easiest (top) to hardest (bottum), and if you're really bored do a second list with usefulness to class (top being most useful).

I'd love to see such a list! Sadly I have limited experience from live. Could get some interesting debate going on, or show some people uses for their epics they never considered before.

rogue easiest, alot of them can be MQed. from personal xp, without a guild, collecting the pearls for cleric epic took me a very very very very very very long time.

Something like this I think.

Easy: Rogue / Shaman / Monk / Cleric / Enchanter
Medium: Magician / Paladin / Ranger / Shadowknight
Hard: Warrior / Druid / Wizard / Necromancer
Insane: Bard

This is basically a list of how thin the bottleneck is. 'Hard' epics require 2+ rare drops, 'Medium' epics require one, and 'Easy' epics don't require any. The Bard epic is in a class by its own with 1 Trak guts every month or so.

Magician was much harder on live due to a lack knowledge farm Quillmane and crowns from island 7 in Sky before it was released.

Cazic Skin was also much rarer on live for Wizards. Only a handful were completed before the epic revamps after Velious.

That's why there was such a shitstorm about the sale. I think it was something like the 3rd or 4th bard epic on the server, and I only know of 5, but then I don't see TMO bards much anymore. Also, there are only 2 bards outside TMO with bard epic, and one of them is that sale.

cazic skin was not any rarer, most did not know you could turn in multiple epics with one skin however, also velious released much sooner than here

Shadowknight epic is in the hard category- and bard should not be in the hardest- it is just that way here because the trak strings where messed up loot table for...oh just a few MONTHS

Shadowknight epic has one real part that is soloable / purchase - and that is the ghoulbane.

CT is a stingy mofo on soulleeches- back in the DA/IB days DA only got 2 total - myself and kayrina's - IB seemed to get one almost every time they got CT :-( so thats why there where some sold for MQ was when they quit.

Ashenbone drakes are stingy as fuck also

the only thing that is "easier" here is Lharc - I am sure its been reported but seeing as 90% of the epic SKs did theirs all very close no one wanted to screw over their fellow knights- but Lharc is a weak ass here- kinda just like a lame VS- on Live he melted raids like a hot knife through butter.... and on Live if you lost the fight- have fun starting over... and that happened quite a few times because Lharc was insane.

I always thought monk epic was an interesting one. Start to finish, starting with the headbands and sashes, it's a loooooooong quest, with lots and lots of loooooooong camps for rare drops. But it's nothing contested or crazy crap like rare drops from gods, just some areas require at least duo'ing with a healer for some long ass camps. There's only one fight that you even need a raid for (and even it can be one grouped if you have all 60s and the right mix of classes).

I wouldn't consider it easy, like the Rogue epic, but it's difficult in a different way. Just lots and lots of time (but actually doable).

Magician epic is top three in difficulty and top three in power.
