Glares Threateningly Aggro Range
 
Since the newest patch (deployed on 6/15/2012) I've noticed that the mobs I've encountered that have the faction level of 'Glares Threateningly' have an extremely low aggro radius. It might just be the types of mobs I've noticed it on ,e.g., Dervish Cutthroats and the jackals of N. Ro, but the aggro radius seems to be extremely low. If this is normally behavior that I have somehow been oblivous to, in classic, and on P99, I apologize.

I can consistently get this close to the dervs in N. Ro while at the 'Glares Threateningly' level of faction.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Once the dervs turned 'Scowls Ready to Attack' the aggro radius increased significantly, to what I can only assume is normal.

The aggro range isn't reduced at threateningly, the likehood of someone being aggro'd is 100% at scowls where it is not 100% at threateningly.

I can confirm. I'm able to walk right up to a Kodiak and it doesn't attack me unless im within melee range. Happens to all mobs that glare threateningly. Pretty awesome!!!

Think of it this way...
Guy at bar sees you with his ex girlfriend, he glares at you all night but doesn't do anything until you stand right next to him and she gives you a big kiss.

Guy at bar sees you with his current girlfriend, he scowls at you thencomes over and kicks yer ass.

My experience has always been that for scowls it only takes 1 server tick in agro range to get agro, whereas glares threatengly requires at least two server ticks of agro range to get agro.
