Language circles
Sitting bored in front of the bank? Want to do something notably pointless? I am looking for likeminded people interested in trading languages for skillups, starting with the PC languages and moving on into some of the NPC languages. Post here, or let me know in game if you are interested.

I remember doing this back in the day while the group medded. I have Elven and Teir'Dal at my disposal, currently.

Ah yes, I remember the language gibbrish orgies while waiting for/on the boats. Got many a skill up by proxy.
|
Used to do this back in the day, definitely down with doing it again.
Of course, I'm human so I can't contribute much atm. I'll be on in about 2-3 hours though, in NFP if any of you are around and wanna share. |
Sernity my rogue is up for this when not in a exp group. i tried to get a group going last week when i was bored at work but didn't find anyone.
|
Yeah, I shouted in NFP and in OOC a time or two, but no bites. I did get some guildies to start sharing though, and I have Dark Speech, Troll, Elvish, and Thieves Cant.

Maxed:
Common Tongue Barbarian Erudin Elvish Dark Elvish Ogre Gnomish Halfling Troll Thieves Cant Dark Speech Elder Elvish In a brilliant use of game mechanics here's how people can easily work together to cap out NPC languages. Rather than a single person dumping in 100 training points, by splitting it up between people you can save a lot. Say in a group of 4, one person trains to 25, then spams. Then another trains 25-50 and spams the group up. Then another trains 50-75 and spams the group up. Then another does 75-100 and tops everyone off. I know there's some cost disparity in training at levels, but the idea is still there, and the more people willing to do it, the more skill points and money is spread out. The best part is, if you don't want to waste your main's skill points that is what alts are for! With a little coordination we can all be polyglots :D |
Would love to get in on this, i have my half elf druid, probably have elven and common. not sure what else he'd have
