Indeed if you are a troll Shaman, there's no reason not to be Innoruuk. Clerics of Innoruuk can also obtain and use it, even humans. My human Cleric has it.

Don't go hunting in crushbone or you cant do the quest!

That's incorrect. Indigo Brotherhood is the only faction affected by orcs and that is the Dark Elf Warrior guild, which has nothing to do with the quest other than if you wander around Neriak Commons without a clue, you may die.

This is correct.

I have hunted in CB and done this quest on many toons on live and one toon here. I doubt you are gonna get the amazing XP in CB as you did on live but don't let it discourage you.
