Most engaging/exciting classic quests
I loved the Testament of Vanear quest back in the day. It was the first quest I ever did that yielded a worthy item - and the lore was interesting too.
What are some other quests that might be worth doing to relive the classic EQ experience? I'm playing a monk so am partial to those but would appreciate any answers! ~Vaighn |

No worries :) Just bored at work and looking for quests to read-through on Alla.

SoulFire is an awesome quest.

i feel like saying this is a cop-out, but i really liked the monk epic quest. it can be started from level one by working on the white headband/sash and just ramps up as you go along. there are great rewards a long the way and the lore of re-discovering a lost monk order is pretty cool.

Personally I like the Treant Fist quest for monks, mainly because they were magic and they were hard to come by in classic, and of course their plate look and matching colour to the lost circle robe! although the alchemist spawns can be an arse, but IMO they are worth the waiting around for!

Raincaller.
It started at level one and went until you raised your fletching skill enough to actually make the Trueshot longbow. Then you had to do the parts at higher levels in order to get the Raincaller |
holy partisan
I don't know if many did the quest because the reward was absurdly bad for the efoort, but the greatest classic quest in my opinion was the holy partisan of underfoot. I remember doing this quest with my two queating pals and it took us months to finish. The tale behind it was epically ddeep. The quest took us all over norrath, keeping us on our toes the whole time. Redeeming good ol dru was probably my favorite eq memory.
