if my roommate wants to play and we don't want to wait a month for the petition to be answered, can't we just buy another $30 Linksys Router and set up a 2nd wireless network for him to connect to?

Unless your ISP gave you more than 1 public IP addresses then no, you would need a second internet service line brought to your house. You can always use your mobile phone to connect to the internet or buy a wiress card from your service provider or you can ask your neighter to rent their wireless internet for the 2nd computer.

What is so taboo to play more than one account at once on this server anyway? It was OK in classic.

pretty much eliminates the need to group, which sucks for solo players.

edit: basically it keeps the zone/group population healthy.

not enough folks playing to allow for 1 person to lock down item camps.

Don't we have full guilds of hardcore players that make that impossible anyway? What's the difference between a 2-boxer and a huge guild full of assholes?

haha, i understand. the difference though is that you can combat one of them with a simple IP block.
