Mage Pets not reporting when they taunt

I just noticed that my pet does not report "Taunting attacker master." anymore ... Its supposed to report each taunt with that line ...

That happened to me once, i think it lasts even if you get rid of pet and get a new one, so have to switch it back on.

Uaellaen 05-11-2010 08:55 AM

no, i switched on and off and on and off and on and off to test this, no messages, no matter in wich state ...

the pet reports with "No longer taunting foes, Master!" (shouldnt it be attackers btw?) and "Now taunting foes, Master!" ... no matter in wich state he is...

he taunts .. i can tell because the mobs turns on him ... but he doesnt send me the message "Taunting attacker Master."

Working fine for me.
Not filtered out by accident?

Uaellaen 05-14-2010 02:24 PM

nope not filtered, working now for me again also ... i be experimenting trying to recreate the situation ... i can turn it on and off as much as i want to now, he will always report taunting attacker master now ... i dont know how i bugged this earlier ><

guess you can move it to resolved ...

i just had it again today .. the 44 fire pet did not say "taunting attacker master" i did not enable or disable taunt, just summoned it ... he would also not start to say taunting attacker master after i turned taunt off and on a few times ...

I had this same problem for a fight or two. Turned taunt on and off a couple of times and he started reporting to me (playing a necromancer)

This has happened with my necro a few times also.
