2) sell plat to RMT site
3) RMT sites sells plat back at profit

You can thank 40% of the servers players whose left the game in the past months, Plat lords probably sitting on 100 million worth of goods right now. Servers going all to shit no thanks to this. Unless gm's actually enforce RMT or release velious soon it will do nothing but get worse and run more people away from their playground.

The buggy amount of Corrupted Seafury Cyclopses absolutely overrunning the island like some sort of plague of locusts undoubtedly has something to do with it. That was a major source of platinum entering the server. Now it trickles in at best. As a result, we see the value of platinum rise like crazy.

This is a major contributor if not the major contributor to the loss of platinum influx on the server. I'm not saying that hoarding neckbeards and Velious speculation aren't another cause.
