Maid Issis - Mistmoore - Living or Undead?
 

Unsure if this is intentional or not. She is not flagged as undead (i.e. I can't cast undead nukes on her with my cleric). She has a vampire model so I am assuming she is supposed to be undead. I have never actually killed her with a cleric on live and this is the first time I have killed her with my cleric on here so I am not sure if this is just how it was in classic or what.

There are actually two variations of Maid Issis and Butler Syncall as seen in the following picture from alla's:

Unfortunately all of my screenshots are gone so I don't have one of regular Maid Issis but she would use one of the familiar models from MM. Maybe someone has a screenshot... her vampire model is:

Basically the familiar version should spawn during the day, and the vampire version should spawn at night. The vampire version should act just like any other undead mob in the castle, and the familiar should act just like the rest of the dark elves. Both have the same loot table, but IIRC you have a better shot of getting a fang from the vampire versions.

I haven't made it high enough yet to get to Mistmoore, but if the only model spawning is the vampire model that is flagged as living, it would just need some tweaking to follow the spawn/behavior patterns above.

I think their loot is the same, at both times of the day though. Opinions on this?

I agree, loot tables are the same, but I presume the common/rare is just flipped, so for a long time people believed it to be so. I admit to the majority of the fangs I've seen have come from vampire versions, but I know I have seen a butler fang off of live butler.

It's been so long it's a little fuzzy but I seem to recall ALWAYS getting some loot from these two even if it's the crappy wreath/cape most of the time.

camped them many times in live.....you could get the fang from either vampire or non-vamp versions of them however in your 'head' you always felt the fang would surely drop when you finnaly got one to pop in vamp form....usually it just let you down tho
